I love anime conventions, they are always a great atmostphere to reignite my creativity and draw lots of manga for the entertainment of attendees. Sometimes I lead panels or workshops on the Japanese Language, Japanese Culture, or how to make manga. But I really love working at my artist alley booths.
In the past I have been in artist allies at:
A&G Ohio: 2010 and 2011
Ohayocon: (approximately 2007 or 2008)
Ikasucon: 2007, 2008, 2009 (promoting the first run of Miss Grey)
Anime Crossroads: 2011 and 2012
Generally at anime conventions I sell caricature badges of attendees in street clothes or in cosplay outfits they are wearing. It takes me a half hour to create each badge, and as you can see below, no two badges are alike! Come early to the table to get your spot, my caricature spots fill up fast! I’m sold out usually by Saturday afternoon!
I also can be commissioned to do other artwork:
